I’m new to the forum and pretty much a beginner. I’ve had my house up for four years and always had a pair or two that raised their young fine. I have had my box up for three weeks or so and haven’t seen any birds yet. I’m in carthage MO. Have any of y’all in the surrounding areas see birds yet?

I'm north of you about 120 miles. Had my first opportunity to check our lake house site yesterday. I have one nesting pair. Hopefully will get some more in the next few weeks. Good luck.

2017 - 1 pair - 5 fledged

yes there are martins all around you, Webb City, Joplin. and more. if you go back to the home page on this site and click on Scout Arrival study and the select Mo and the click view reports and that will show you who all has martins so far. you can pick your year too and maybe check Arkansas too since you are close
Good Luck

I'm just South of KC and have a couple pair, but they haven't started coming in strong yet. It's too early to worry.
