Hey James,
That is Great that you have spotted your first Martin for the 2020 season. I kept watching under NC Scout reports wondering when you were gonna add your name. They’ll start to flow in on a regular bases now.
I have about 25 I think. It’s hard to see all of them going in and out of Gourd’s on 6 different Racks. My oldest son is supposed to help me put up my T-14 sometime this week - Hopefully. I have 168 Gourd’s of all types up and pre nested. I do not plan on hanging any more after I get this t-14 up. That will give me 186 cavities in total and I just can’t handle any more, considering Nest Checks and year end cleaning etc.
My new Rack (The Nitro D) I designed has 48 Gourd’s on it. I didn’t think the Bird’s would really use it or mess with it this quickly, since it’s a new system. I thought maybe some of my SY Bird’s would occupy it when they came in. But these ASY Bird’s are going to it in large numbers, so I guess they must like it.
Do you play the Dawn Song at all.? I think it really helps to attract Martin’s to your site.!
Keep me posted on your success with you Site.
