Well we finally saw our first pm scout today. It was a adult male single. made a lot of flyovers. He lit a few times checked out the gourds. We had our dawn song going all day. I supposed that was what attracted him to our site. We hope this is a start of more to come.
Good luck to all Land Lords this year.
finally a scout

2021......to be seen.
24 natural gourds on a satellite rack,9 other gourds scattered around
2-12 compartment trio houses
Rarely see a sparrow or starling, but when I do they don’t last long!
Will have a second satellite rack for the 2022 season and phase out the houses, the martins here strongly prefer natural gourds.
That’s great news ,I also saw the first bird today around my site, passer through or the neighbors I don’t know but it was the first over my yard. Lots of reports today on Sunday in south Louisiana. They should be workin their way on up over the next few days to a week, gettin very excited!
