Sad to say my birds are on their way South, left 7/26.. They left a little earlier than last year. All in all a good year same number of pairs (5) as last year. Soo quiet!

- Martin Colony History: first house 2006, 2007 built and installed T-14 with wood pole, 2012 installed Troyer tunnels on 12 openings, 2014 installed new aluminum pole and four troyer horizontal gourds. 2015 first successful pair, 2016 four pair fledged 16. 2017 will install four more Troyer horizontal gourds a total 23 cavities.

I was out of town since last Saturday and activity really has slowed down since I got back. Now I'm seeing 10-15 martins total in the morning and they are gone most of the day, less and less returning each evening. Will be packing everything up for the season before too long.
