My husband called from the golf course this morning to tell me I had martins there at my satellite site! Yep, an ASYM flew over and sat right above my car on the power line! He was gorgeous! I saw 3 others flying higher so I’m hoping my martin season has begun. Can’t wait to see them tomorrow! WooHoo!!!

How fun is that? :) I'm watching Illinois so I know we won't be too far behind you. Good luck! I hope you all have a great season!

Thanks everyone! I haven’t seen them again but 1—I only check once a day at the satellite site.
2—The weather is so crappy that they might be hiding out in the gourds.
So I’ll just keep checking! Good luck everyone!

Are you guys getting a lot of snow right now? We were supposed to but it went south so we got lucky - we have high winds, tho. Good luck - hope your birds find a way to survive this stuff.

No snow here just had a lot of rain and it’s cold and windy here too.
