Looking for some advice. I bought six used super gourds and six used excluder gourds on Craigslist for $100. All have/had round holes. I’m modifying them to the troyer tunnel Conley 2 entrances. I’ve cut the holes for the tunnels and have them cleaned and ready to glue/caulk. The tunnels fit tightly in the cutout. The issue is it doesn’t look like there are many good adhesive options to bond polyethylene. Has anyone undertaken a similar project? What type of adhesive did you use to bond the hours to the tunnel?

I’m thinking about using this product:

To glue the interior and then caulk the exterior with a white silicone or latex based caulk for water proofing. Most of the exterior, water proof construction adhesives I’ve looked at all say not for use with polyethylene.

I just did 2 super gourds with the troyer super gourd tunnels. I think there is another tunnel for the excluder gourds. I connected the tunnels with the screws provided and then used big stretch caulk( It stays plyble but makes a good bond). I let it completely dry the sun and you can put it on the rack when you touch the caulk and it is rubbery but bounces back after you press on it. Good Luck
