Our first Martin arrived around 8:30 this morning. I really didn't want one until we could have warmer weather, but at least it didn't come the last of January like one did last year. The temperature is 37 degrees and cloudy. We will be putting out eggs and shells if it stays cold.

Hi. Where are you? Our Martins started arriving Feb. 6th. Not nesting yet but have made the house home. Weather today in S. Louisiana nice and mild with the high in 60's.

We are about 40 miles south of Pine Bluff, AR. Good luck with your birds this year.

So excited to hear that some of you have Martins. Still waiting to see some in Western Mississippi. Haven't seen any yet, but have seen Blue Birds and have set up a trail for them so as not to have them next in PM house this year. To each his or her own for the birds on our property.

Good Luck everyone and Happy Birding. This new PM landlord is awaiting first tenants, if any decide to stay. We'll be ready for them. We have a 8 Suite BirdsChoice Waters Edge house to put up this weekend for the sub adults. Also, readying a renovated plastic American Barn with 4 suites to put up, too with BoEleven Guords to put underneath the barn house. We'll go from there....
