Hello everyone! It has been several years since I have posted here but, wanted to share with you all the new T-10 I built this year. It is made from aluminium for the most part with the exception of the sub floors which are the traditional wood. My old T-10 was all wood and weighed 82 lbs. This T-10 weighs 52 lbs. The 2nd pic of one of the 3 cavity sides gives you a better idea of how it looked with the bare aluminum. I believe the total cost in material for the house and the modified AAA-16 cost me about $270.00

Thank you Martinfarmer! I love building Martin housing myself. I designed the offset winch myself to fit the round pole. I built my own AAA-16 and put the offset winch design on it also. Here is a pic of the AAA-16 I built.

Dale —- Does the cable going through the angle iron, keep the rack from turning in the wind, or do you have a slot for the rack to slip into at the top to stop spinning in the wind.. ??
Dave, I have a bracket at the top of the pole with 4 notches in it that the square up goes in and prevents it form turning. Here is a pic of the bracket. If you look you van see the notches.
and here is a pick of the bare rack raised to meet the bracket.

Dave Duit wrote:Super craftsmanship. I like the way you used the 2 inch soffet vents. I used the same vents on my modified grandpa style aluminum houses.
Thank you Dave! I really like the 2" louvered vents over the PVC elbows on houses. They make with a much cleaner look.
