Learn about the history and development of this amazing colony in South Austin and the neighborhood’s involvement from owner Laura Joseph.

There will be a lot of babies from newborns to almost-ready-to-fledge. She will have a live-streaming bird cam on one of the houses. You can enjoy the grounds of her historic home, which was built in 1875 and is the oldest structure south of the river. It is a Greek Revival Style home with 22-inch thick walls made of stone quarried at Oak Hill.
