First birds
I built a Martin house, 16 apartments appx 6 x 6 x 6. Joined this forum and read that the birds liked bigger apartments so I redid the apartments and turned 16 apartments into 8. No birds showed up even tho 2 blocks away there's 2 houses with more birds than places. This morning I set up my computer and played Martin morning sounds, less than 10 minutes and I had birds circling my house. Tonight we have 2 birds in 2 separate compartments spending the night. Tomorrow morning, I will start the music early and hope for some more residents. I'm so excited.

You will not need to play any martin sounds in order to attract other martins once you have the first ones. The ones that you have will do a much better job of attracting other martins than you can.

- Martin Colony History: 2016, put Troyer pole with 6 units Horizontal with Conley 11 Tunnels.
Had some visits (two sittings) last year. A visit this year 2017.
Wonderfull enjoy, sounds like the martin sounds did the trick for you.

Yes congrats it's such a fantastic feeling when those first birds enter your housing perfect hoping you get more interested and get a colony going sounds like your in a good spot if there's a colony close by with lots of birds the best of luck
