Yesterday around 5:45 an ASY female was flying around our site. She was just going around and around back and forth way up high. She made quick jerks while flying as if she was so happy she found home. You know I was doing the happy dance! This lasted for about 15 minutes. Then she came down to check out one of the gourds which happens to be a gourd that was used last season. Almost like that was her gourd. Then she left for a very long time. It was getting darker and darker, but I still waited outside. Then from the side she flys silhouetted against the sunset sky over the site with two other Martins following her. All three quickly swoop into the gourds. I saw two go into the same gourd she was looking at earlier. I will get a better look today after work. Hope all three are still there! Happy Friday everyone!
