I am still here, but unable to travel (wife is fighting cancer). We had a good forum many years ago before it folded. Thurman, nice to hear from you and glad that you are well.

Hi, Thurman. Hope you are doing well. This has been a strange martin year. Between the predators and the weather, we still don't have any established martins. Take care!

Thurman, I go back to the very first days of the Clubhouse. I have no interest in seeing 2500-3000 gourds set out for martins and do not believe it to be an exemplary, safe or productive scenario for martins.

Thurman, I hope your group has a good time, I would love to be there, and would like to see the setup that he has for the martins.

John Barrow,
Reading this thread was wondering who puts out 3000 Gourds for Purple Martin's ?? That's a lot to say the least. I have between 75 and 100 and it keeps me busy. Do they do nest checks on all those Gourds ??
