Saw the first arrivals on our martin house this evening. I still had the doors on and the house had been lowered for the winter season. Needless to say I rushed right out and opened the doors and raised the house up. It didn't take too long before they were back checking out the house. I worry as it has been so cold and rainy here in Southern Ontario. However, their arrival made my day!.They have arrived

That is awesome..hope it all goes well for a fellow southern Ontarian. Need some warmer weather and maybe we will see an increase (hopefully). Just got done feeding mine 5 scrambled eggs and some crickets, another cold and dismal day down here in Blenheim...but on a brighter note, some have finally figured out the feeding platform I built this year and then monkey see, monkey do, and suddenly ten were on it. That might make life a little easier on me.
