Martin Colony History: Put up 8 natural gourds in 2015 got a few visits only.

I have some extra seeds if anyone is interested. I got these from 9 to 11 inch diameter so they are real nice and big.

They are free for SASE (self addressed stamped envelope)

Moderators if this message under minds the pmca store (since they sell seeds) please remove.

I can also donate these to pmca if they would like these seeds.

Is there a Private message option yet to give people contact info privately?

Thanks

Brian

Always open to try something new. Hopefully we can figure out the Private Messaging option.

Martin Colony History: Started in 2001 with one Chuck Abare style 16 gourds rack. The past several years I have three of these gourd racks now. 48 gourds total. Maybe six plastic and the rest natural. Mixture of vertical, horizontal, single and double gourds. Tunnels on most and all sreh holes. Predator guards(bird netting) on each pole. Also have a S&S repeating trap in area. Shotgun and pellet gun help too. Usually all gourds occupied.

I wouldn't mind some seeds but don't know how to get in touch?

To Folks that sent me a SASE for Giant gourd seeds:

I sent them out today.

Plant them when it is warm late spring-ish (no threat of frost)

It helps to scratch each seed with a file and soak in water overnight before planting.

I had 50% germination on seeds i tested a few weeks ago.

I sent about 25 seeds to you.

Enjoy and let me know how it goes.

Update on gourd seeds Brian. I started eight seeds indoors and all except one germinated. Thank you so much for the seeds. This was about three weeks ago. Will plant the rest outdoors very soon.
