Martin Colony History: 2021 - 3 nesting pair; 15 eggs; 13 fledged.
2020 - 1 pair; 4 eggs; 3 fledged.
2002 - 2019 - Trying

I believe this is a SY female, am I correct?

She showed up yesterday with an ASY male .

2011 - Bought 18 acre farm with a 1 acre pond
2008-2010 – 0 nesting pairs
2007 – 1 nesting pair. Female died trying to lay 4th egg

Martin Colony History: Start 2009 with one pair. Upgraded from S&K houses to two Trendsetter 12's with gourds beneath in 2013. I have experienced job, pet, and parental losses since '13. The Purple Martins lift my spirits and remind me how life continues forward by flying their little selves from Brazil back to my yard. As one forum person once told me, chin up DebA, look at the martins. Danger all around but yet they soar in the sky without a care in the world.

Yes, ASY! See how her undertail coverts show her lines? Also her darker chin area is a giveaway too. SY females are very light breasted and typically no lines on the undertail. Great pics!

2015 69 pairs 418 eggs 396 fledged
2019 I have 148 openings now
2016 100 pairs 600 babies fledged added another t-14 and have 126 openings now
2015 Jun 24 360 babies and 58 eggs also found one that had died
2017 632 babies 11died and 20 were killed by hawks
2015 74 pairs and 9 eggs 5/14
2010 3pairss

According to a post from Louise Chambers back in Jan 24, 2008.
"There is a size limit of 400 x 400 pixels for the photo to show up IN your post, or 800 x 800 pixels for the photo to appear as a link in your post. Is your photo larger than that?

Also, max size for one file is 250 KB. "

I shrink my photo to those sizes prior to attaching it. I am assuming you are using the Attachments tab when you post also.
