Gourd hanging

I am new to gourds but fixing to hang 4 of them, but you pro's can tell me if they need to be hung where they they can swing or be installed rigid. thanks in advance.

Manage 7 different colonies in Colby Kansas.

They can be hung either way I have people that have hung them to not move. But all of my gourds are hung on racks which allows them to swing. I don't think it really matters.
