Martin Colony History: Started trying to attract purple martins in 2012! It's finally happened in 2017! 5 years!!! ASY male and SY female came May 1st, fledged 5 babies!
Great pics Malcolm. My one pair I had to nest and fledge 4 last year have not returned yet but hopefully any day now. I noticed that some have just come back down the road from me in the last few days at the two houses about a quarter of a mile from me.

Nice photos! I am starting to forget what the sunshine looks like here! We've had clouds and rain all week. At least there have been enough breaks in the rain for my martins to get out and feed! I am looking forward to getting out and also taking some photos soon I hope.
