Add me to the list of members who had trouble submitting a Scout Report. Even though I submitted a new user name and password my effort was rejected because an account with my email already exists. Discovered you must use your shopping account log-in information rather than Forum log-in information to make a scout report. Reporting system worked well after making that change. Anyway, a male ASY Purple Martin returned to my location, Smith Mountain Lake, Moneta, VA, on February 27, 2016. This is the earliest I have ever recorded a martin returning and the second year in a row a Purple Martin returned before the Tree Swallows. Previously, the martins returned about ten days after the Tree Swallows
Enjoy,

THE MORE ONE LEARNS THE MORE ONE SEES! While the ignorant person sees only a blackbird the enlightened person sees a Purple Martin.

Martin Colony History: I have been a landlord for 24 years.
Three gourd racks with total of 28 super gourds.
2021 - 28 nesting pairs

I cannot log in to make my report either! I had 3 adult males this morning perched on the top perches, but I do not have my gourds out yet. Got to get that done today!
