            Well I had a Female show this morning. We have Thunderstorm coming through and I went to raise everything back up and she was above me letting me know that I am here and get my house up for me. She is late and every year I have had a male first to show up except this year. El Nino year is changing everything. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) I can not post in the arrival and have sent Louise and email on the issue.

Have had visitor every year 2014-24.
Two large trees removed in fall 2024 and moved T-14 to a more open location.
2025- 1 SY pair. Fledged 2.
2026- no pairs. One daily SYM here daily. Named him Riggs!

Congrats James. It has to be a thrill when they return. I'm a homebody as it is. If i ever get martins, i may never leave the house in the daylight.
Bellefonte PA
2014, 1st year-a few lookers, no nests
2015-23. Visitors each year. But no pairs.
2024- most active year. 2-4 SY male’s hang out most days.
2025, 1 SY pair. 2 eggs, 2 fledged!! Other martins visited daily.
Still eliminating starlings and sparrows.

Hey James,

Thanks for sharing that great news with us! I knew you would have a martin soon! And you got a female first! We usually get males too but females have arrived first a few times.

We will be looking forward to reading posts about your martin colony this year. Congratulations on the arrival of your first martin!

Hey Dan, I am luck to be able to work from home, but I do play golf several days a week and it is hard to go when they are coming in.

Steve, Thanks my friend and it was not expected due to us having heavy rain and Thunderstorms this morning and I had lowered the houses when the storms were coming. I was out putting everything back up when she was screaming at me from above me. It is about time for you to get your first from what I remember. I hope to talk with you again soon buddy and I am looking forward to your post that yours are coming in.

I just emailed you some log in help, James. Forum accounts are separate from regular PMCA membership/shop/scout report accounts - we wanted to merge them all into one, but were not able to do that. If anyone wants there PMCA account info changed so it's the same as their forum log in, email us and we can do that for you.

    Well she came in to go to bed and went through the new Owl and Hawk Guard and then right through the Shre entrance like she has been doing it for weeks. Most of the time they do not stay the night when they first come, but it is rain here an she would like to stay dry for the night. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)
