Martins come in once a day at 10:30 and leave within 30 minutes until the next day and then repeat the same until the next day. Why?

Truman the martins are somewhat creatures of habit; they have chosen your site as a place to hang out as they "make their hunting rounds". My guess is the fact that you have housing present has lured them to use the site as a visiting place on their daily rounds. The housing is inviting and offers some comfortability as a place to hang out while hunting your area. they actually may prefer your site over their home site, but their site fidelity/tenacity ultimately wins over and they eventually head back there after hanging at your place. It's a good sign that they know where your site is for future season chances of possibly "robbing" them from that site next season or bringing offspring around as potential future nesters. Enjoy them while they're there!

Truman,
TimG is right, They are probably looking for a place to hang-out briefly, If you had birds this year they are probably yours. My birds left with my last fledges July 9. For the past 5 days 10 or 12 have come back in about 10 to 10:30 am. Three are banded birds that were part of my colony this season, including a GEO bird.
