More product line changes at Nature House

For those interested, there have been some more, recent product line changes at Nature House.
Over the past couple of months, they had pulled the popular eight compartment MSS-8 (formerly known as Trio TG-8 "Grandma") from their lineup.
There have been more changes.
Recent intel indicates that within the past few days, their Duracraft model DH-12N (hexagonal house that goes on a telescoping pole) has been pulled.
Also within the past few days, the classic MSS-12 (formerly known as the TG-12 "Grandpa"), has had some changes made to it.
The MSS-12/TG-12 signature "spaghetti" porch rails, are no more.
In fact, the new model is called the MSS-12R, and to this Trio/Nature house fan, it appears to be an M-12K, equipped with MSS-12 insides - allowing the pole to go up through the house.
I certainly hope these changes, are to make room for some new, more state-of-the-art models, that are to be released........

I have the cheapest Duracraft house and pole. I added Sparo doors and it serves as my trap house. I will say it is pretty flimsy but has held up beyond
my expectation.

I realize this is kind of an old post to be responding on, but I just came across it. I don't guess there is anyway to still get spaghetti rails on the current 12 room grandpa house models? I just think the houses look so much cooler with the spaghetti rails.

The spaghetti rails do look great!
Briefly checked the manufacturer's website after reading your post, and unfortunately it looks like the spaghetti rails themselves are not available any longer (although the center rail supports, and rail end brackets for the spaghetti rails are still available).

Martin Colony History: I have been exposed to purple martin sounds in utero when my mother went out to get my father away from his martin colony.
I played around the martin colony every summer and watched as my father maintained his colony. In the late 50's until the 70's he did not notice European Starlings in south Texas.
When old enough, I helped maintain his colony. My primary task was eliminating English House Sparrows with a 1956 Benjamin 317 .177 air rifle.
When I settled into my own home, I started my first colony with an original Trio Castle and Trio Grandpa. When I moved again, I did not put up any martin houses. Frustration with European Starlings in the Southeast US was overwhelming.
Found PMCA Forum and learned about modern enlarged compartments and SREHs.
Inherited my father's last martin house, a Trio Grandma, modified it to modern specifications and have had good results since then.

I am also a spaghetti rail fan. I think that they are both very functional but the spaghetti wins out for me.

Martin Colony History: Started in 1992 From neighbors old 1950-60's colonies. Have 8 Trio 6 Room Houses, 4 MPP Poles, 1 Heath Deluxe Gourd with Troyer Porch, 8 NatureLine Gourds with Troyer Porches, 5 Troyer Horizontals ,& 2 S&K 11" WITH Troyer Porches ready for 2019 Season !

3 Trio Nuts , All in a Row! :wink:
With the center & end brackets still available , you can always find some Very small diameter aluminum tubes & if you're careful at bending them, you can always make your own ! Rattle!, Rattle, Can't you Just hear that can of Green Spray Paint ! :wink: :grin:
