It is always good to see the scout report seeing others in northern IL who note returning PM for the season.
2014 - 19 nests, 81 hatched - 74 fledged
2013 -11 nests, 47 hatched - 40 fledged

I was getting worried that the Beloit (WI) area "no fly zone" had extended across the state line. This area, for some reason, seems to have bad luck in keeping successful colonies going. But we keep trying every year.
Today, while cleaning out HOSP nests from four gourds, a new group of returning PMs scolded me for lowering their gourd rack!! But I asked their forgiveness and raised their SS-24 in a hurry.
