It was a gorgeous day today albeit a tad on the cool side. My martins (six ASY pairs so far) have been actively claiming gourds and fighting over the ones they like the most (males and females). I have been surprised at all of the fighting this year. I really don't remember seeing so much of it last year.
Here are a few more images of some the martins I have been blessed to host this year (plus a Barn Swallow ):

Nice shots, Chuck! Love the barn swallow in flight - they are so hard to catch!

Thanks everyone! I do enjoy photographing birds. It seems to help me get to know them better too. Especially the martins. I expect my martins will begin nest building pretty soon. I look forward to getting images during that period.

Hi Dave! You are very welcome sir. I am honored to have been able to help.
