Hi everyone.

I am thinking of ways to make the SREH appear bigger by adding some dark contouring around the outside of the hole - somehow without changing the size of the hole. Has anyone tried this?

I am thinking it might help attract. I'm also thinking that I'm very possibly wrong, though.
Thanks to all,

Martin Colony History: Started trying to attract purple martins in 2012! It's finally happened in 2017! 5 years!!! ASY male and SY female came May 1st, fledged 5 babies!

I would do it with a little mud! Mine looks like a bigger hole with mud smeared around it. Who knows may work!!!
Good luck!

Sounds Good, as in helping PMs used to Round Holes adapt to SREHs ! Only I wouldn't make it look completely Round, You Don't want the " Road Runner / Coyote " affect to happen ! Martins Flys into Acme Hole !
Good luck ! Very interesting !
