We checked the gourd about 8:20 am, no martins. Checked gourd this afternoon at 4:45, no martins in gourd. Have looked out the door and windows many many times today. No martins seen. Very unlikely they will survive if they don't stay here and eat. Not much I can do to control where they go or stay. Rained all day. Weather here has been awful for martins.

Maybe they are ok if they have left to find bugs and warmer air! They have to know what to do to survive, it's born and breed in then. They'll be back when it warms up. Think positive!
We are all rooting for their return to your site!
