Help with netting on pole!!

Started in 1992 from Older '50-'60s Colonies.
Steve Kroenke uses big zip ties to attach it to the pole.

Thanks Matt. I saw that post but didn't see the part about the zip ties. I will try them both. If I catch one this year I am going to change out the netting completely. I think thats the reason I had so many last year they smelled the other snakes on the netting. I think I read that somewhere. I am probably just parinoid but $5 is worth taking less chances. Thanks to all.

I also use this, it works great. I caught 2 snakes one day and cut one loose,(with the help of my son) put him in the woods and before I could cut the other one out the first snake came back and as I screamed and moved he wrapped back around the snake still caught. I then had to start over cutting both snakes out. Must have been a snake ball in a net ball

Here is an idea I came up with and was actually used in one of the Martin Update issues. I used old Owl guards and crossed them on a square pole. I first used a rope cleat and then recently changed to a C clamp. It's easier to loosen and slide up and down the pole. All of my poles have these on them now!
