My Naturlines have no access doors on the side. Has anybody tried to install the access doors they use on natural gourds? Will it even work?

I'm in the same boat as you're in, except I'm not using them this season, I'm using 4 that came with caps now, but I need to research that so I can use them again in the future. N.line & S&K use to sell a kit FOR Plastic gourds without caps. But like yourself, all I see are ones for Natural gourds. My friend Thurman S. told me that he uses a certain spaghetti sause jar instead.??? I'll let you/ everyone else what I hear works. Good luck.

I like the access caps from the PMCA store they are made well.

I have purchased some from another place and got frustrated as the caps would not tighten very well and pop off the threads did not hold up well I had to put 4 inch hose clamps on them to keep them on.

Sorry JL Murray, he did'nt tell me what spaghetti sauce he uses ( I'm sorry again, because I can't help but laugh as I write this, a whole bunch of P.Martin Host "Pawing" plastic spaghetti jars in the grocery stores,"security to isle 9 crazy people...") But Really, I'll try to find out which one it is, " thatzza latta meatballs" I'm just very tired tonight, and I just got home in time to see Master P. T "Mr. Selfridge " (just can't get enough of the REALLY OLD 1914 + Old School Stuff, I always wonder about Purple Martin housing ect.. back then, "Happy belated Easter Everyone !"

I ordered some ports from the PMCA store and installed them on 2 naturelines 4 years ago. Still working well.

That's good news, Gobbler T, Just when I was thinking about the a.caps, I looked up at my fridge and saw that a friend of mine gave me a BIG black plastic jar of chocolate protein powder. The lid is big enough for a hand, and just when I thought that the plastic was thin, I was Very surprised to feel how Thick it is. You should play it safe and get the a.cap kit from the PMCA store, but it would be a big waste for me to not keep / try this jar/ lid. Looks like I'll be downing alot of chocolate protein now. Best of luck Buckizig!

OOPS!, Sorry JLMurray, I misunerstood my friend Thurman, he had used a "Pasta Storage Plastic Jar " top/lid to put over the entrance of the Older S&K gourds to extend the entry way, and he would cut an opening ON the lid. But he was told the storage jar is no longer made, which lead me to find the other plastic protein jar instead. Lots of "stuff" around us to rig onto Martin homes! (Right ? Mark ?!!)
