Has anybody out there used motion sensitive cameras to keep track of their sites when they are away. This seems like it would be an interesting way to capture pictures and video of visiting martins, S&S, predators night / day and so on when we are at work and sleeping.
If you have please share your experiences, photo's and video.
thanks,
Dave

I know several people that use these cameras for hunting and security. They get amazing pictures day and night. You can get just about anything you want depending on how much you want to spend. If you have good cell coverage at your site you can even have the camera text you the pictures at they are taken. They can also take video or high speed pictures depending on what you buy. Just keep it in mind for a public site they have become targets for thieves. I think they would be an excellent tool to know what predtors are lurking around at night.

I use them yes. Made an adjustable bracket welded onto a piece of 1" tubing. Stake it into the ground, pointed up at the housing. It works well, showing what came during the day, PM's, starlings etc..... and what holes they are using.
