Deck the halls in red!! While readying my martin houses, I had a vermillion flycatcher keeping me merry as he looked on.
Happy Holidays and a Prosperous Martin Season to all.

Gorgeous photo…thanks for sharing. (currently 1 degree in western WI…but, at least, the sun is shining and wind relatively calm).
Merry Christmas to all!

That is one beautiful bird. I love the bright red coloring.

MERRY CHRISTMAS Adrian, Tommy, and to all our martin friends!!!
FA, LA, LA, LA, LA, LA, LA, LA, LA!!! Love the vermillion flycatcher!!
We are getting ready to hang some gourds in a week or two--glad you are getting things started in Port O. What a great location to observe and host martins. And hopefully the rains will continue through the spring. We hope to make a run up there sometime soon!!!
Wishing you a great season and good fishing!!!

Hey John!!
I am glad folks enjoyed the flycatcher. I figure you see quite a few in your neighborhood. They were always hopping around the cactus when we had a place down there. I didn't know they came this far north. I have to get a jump on martin season since I am off for the holidays. I will be raising porches that have worn down. Pesky starlings are already straining to get in. Come on by anytime you get up this way.
Happy New Year to you and Louise and all martin lovers!
