Hi everybody ! What a great season so far ! Many babies have already fledged and are zipping and gliding around ! I have lived in Corpus Christi Tx my whole life but will be moving just north of Nashville TN this summer. The town is Goodlettsville and is a wonderful place, total Americana and i cant wait to get back to that way of life. Anyhow, if any of y'all are in that area i would love to meet ya. PM me here or Fred Rixburg on Facebook. Hope everyone has a top day !

Hi Fred!
Great to hear from you!
There are going to be some happy Martins in Goodlettsville, once you're setup for next season!

Martin Colony History: Start 2009 with one pair. Upgraded from S&K houses to two Trendsetter 12's with gourds beneath in 2013. I have experienced job, pet, and parental losses since '13. The Purple Martins lift my spirits and remind me how life continues forward by flying their little selves from Brazil back to my yard. As one forum person once told me, chin up DebA, look at the martins. Danger all around but yet they soar in the sky without a care in the world.

You seem stoked!! Good luck on your move and best wishes for many more martins in your future. Good ole Americana suits me just fine too!
