This is good news, right? I wasn't a landlord 17 years ago so I am just curious if PMs find these guys tasty?

I have seen on other websites that they do eat them...I would think they would be a belly full. Doesn't take many of these to make a dozen, as my Dad used to say, lol.

Martin Colony History: Had my site up to 22 gourds of which most (+/-3) stayed occupied.
Downsized to 17 gourds due to back surgeries. Had 14 families in 2017 but did not do nest checks due to health. Feeling better in 2018 and hoping for a good year.

Louise said they do eat them. I remember the last cycle here.....they are soooo loud. We call them locust. For the longest time I didn't even know what a cicada was. Kind of like the dragon fly, we call those mosquito hawks.
Best kind of hawks to have right?
Thanks for sharing Ron. I bookmarked to show my 5 yo grandson. He will love it.
