- Martin Colony History: Had my site up to 22 gourds of which most (+/-3) stayed occupied.
Downsized to 17 gourds due to back surgeries. Had 14 families in 2017 but did not do nest checks due to health. Feeling better in 2018 and hoping for a good year.

- Martin Colony History: Start 2009 with one pair. Upgraded from S&K houses to two Trendsetter 12's with gourds beneath in 2013. I have experienced job, pet, and parental losses since '13. The Purple Martins lift my spirits and remind me how life continues forward by flying their little selves from Brazil back to my yard. As one forum person once told me, chin up DebA, look at the martins. Danger all around but yet they soar in the sky without a care in the world.

I'm in year three with no martins, and only one visitor for a couple days over the three years. Can't wait to see what you're seeing.

19- Break-through year. Had a SY Male stop in on June 7th and stay all day, every day until end of June
20 - The male didn't return. I did see a SY male do a few flyovers.

22-3rd rack added, all within a mile. This one at prime location, 0 visits

What a suprise. I have not been on the forum in about 2 weeks. I like others skim the topics just to see if there is a post from you, and boy what wonderful news.
I told you last year ,first it was James, then me and you would be next.
My prayers were answered.
You know now you are going to have to post all the activity taking place at your house, because we have all been pulling for you and you are the favorite on this forum for many of us.
Last year I had only the one pair, and it made me so nervous. But try not to worry about them to much and enjoy them.
My male returned this year and female too. I have 3 pairs right now. I lost one pair.

Computers been locked up for a couple days! Still no eggs but lots of activity. It's nice to go out side at any time of the day and see martins. I am enjoying every min I get to sit ond watch.
