I've decided to expand our purple martin colony and have ordered a new 12 gourd, gourd rack. We have several places in the yard to put it, but the best seems to be about 32 feet from the T-14. It needs to be away from trees, and that place is 81 feet from the nearest copse of trees. Would that placement be too close to the T-14? The other gourd rack is 42 feet away from the gourd rack.

No problem with that distance, many are closer. Most of mine are 15-20 ft

Thanks, you fellow landlords. I really appreciate it. My husband and I measured all sorts of places, but wanted to stay away from trees, and this place seemed to be the best. We also wanted a good view of the rack, because we enjoy the martins so much.
