7am this morning 2 adult male martins arrived and not long after that I counted as many as 8 flying around. As the martins arrived so have the sparrows and starlings. Today already I trapped 4 sparrows and 1 starling. All of the martins look good and no droopy wings. Thank's to anyone south of here who may have fed them they look great!

The Warm weather has upped the mating heat, so to speak. especially with the starlings. They are all over today, especially on the trios.

Glad you finally got your martins. I could have had some your martins come by my place. I had some that were here the other day that acted like they were not supposed to be here. It was during that nasty cold spell that they
went through. The weather has really warmed up nice, and I have got a lot
more martins coming in. I finally raised the new T-22 and they seem to like
it. There has been quite a few birds landing on it. I would like to see them fill
it up.

Great to hear Craig. My numbers jumped by near 40+ martins over two days, so the flood gates are certainly open!

Craig H - Yippee!!! I was happy to get acquainted with Porky. I have to say though - he's quite the 'tray hog'.

Lots more have arrived here too. Guess they were just waiting at the border for the nasty weather to clear.

Best of luck to you this year!

Thank's for the replies everybody. The martins are doing fine and the sparrow's and starling's keep coming. I trapped 8 sparrows and 2 starling's the past 2 day's. The sparrows have been thick around here the past 2 years. To many trash houses around here breeding them.
