2015 -- FINALLY!! One pair, 4 fledged. We took a 2 week vacation to Alaska in May and returned to find our first pair!!
2016 - - 2 pair, 6 fledged
2017 - - 3 pair, 5 fledged
I am still trying to attract my first PMs. Last year I had a pole bend a little from gusty winds. Ever since I lower the houses when high winds are predicted. Will lowered houses prevent SYs from stopping at my sight?

Hi Larry,
As soon as the winds pass put the house back up. I have had martins take up housing as low as 7 feet off the ground. This isn't a normal height, but you can attract martin even at lower heights. I wish you the best. Don't get discouraged; it took me 5 years before my first pair.

I leave mine lowered one section now all the time. Mine are 10 feet high, no problem for the pm's. The winds dont rock and sway them as much now.
2012 -first year landlord.... 2 pair, 9 fledged.... 2013- 5 pair 20 fledged..
2014- 8 pair 32 fledged

Thanks for the replies. The houses are all back up, Dawnsong playing, waiting for the birds!! My Trio 24 Castle now has a strand of the cable broken, so I've got another project. This country living certainly keeps one busy!!
