Good Luck & congratulations on the arrival of your ASY. It's good to see that they are making their way up. However, I'm still a little bit concern with the up & down of temperatures we are having lately and the effects. Hopefully, things will settle down and spring weather will move forward. Again, I wish you a good year with your martins.

My lone male is nowhere to be found today, its 35 and snowing, so I cant feed him if he's not here. The weather looks to be miserable for the next 10 days, so I hope no more come.

2010-1 pair nested, 4 eggs destroyed(Wren).
2012- 1 pair nested, 4 eggs, 4 fledged
2019- 1 pair nested, 4 eggs, 4 fledged.
2021- 10 pair, 40 babies fledged.
2022- 17 pair, 10 eggs not hatched= appxy. 57 fledged.

Thank you very much for the information. We will have to stop by and see you our next trip down there. Our Parents are buried at Bethel Cemetery and we have family who live in Washington, Indiana.
I've been trying to attract Martins for 19 years. Had our first nesting pair in 2010. A Wren destroyed my 2 Martin eggs. Ma/ Pa left did not return.
Had successful 1 pair 2012, lot of lookers also.

My ASY male is back tonite, after being absent for a couple days, his wings are dropped down, and I know hes hungry, but he wont eat. Its suppose to be in the 20's tonite and teens tomorrow night. and not get out of the 30's and low 40's for the nest week. He might be in trouble. Can they feed in low 40's. the wind is also gusting pretty good

- Martin Colony History: 22 year landlord, 14 at current residence..offering 9 racks and a homemade T-8 for 166 total cavities. 160 Pair in 2018 Racks consist of a Deluxe 12, AAA 16, Starburst 16, 2 K-18 Series, Super 24, 2 Gemini, Multi-purpose/two trio’s/4gourds and a T-8..Great hobby to be involved in..
Very doubtful with low 40's and gusty winds..wind chill comes into play..he'll eat when he's hungry, so don't give up on those crickets.. 
22 year landlord..9 Rack Systems for 2018 and my home built T-8 for a total of 166 cavities..160 pair in 2018 ..SUPER COLONY!!! Love You Bev... Fan of those St. Louis Cardinals!!!!!
