Purple Martin video I shot this morning to keep you entertained.
The best part is the chatter in the last 10 seconds!

Great video Vern. I thought the one on the end was a decoy until it finally moved.

Martin Colony History: Had my site up to 22 gourds of which most (+/-3) stayed occupied.
Downsized to 17 gourds due to back surgeries. Had 14 families in 2017 but did not do nest checks due to health. Feeling better in 2018 and hoping for a good year.

haha, all that chatter makes me do the happy dance all over again.
Wind 18 mph out of south here too. Hope it brings me some more! :)

Martin Colony History: Start 2009 with one pair. Upgraded from S&K houses to two Trendsetter 12's with gourds beneath in 2013. I have experienced job, pet, and parental losses since '13. The Purple Martins lift my spirits and remind me how life continues forward by flying their little selves from Brazil back to my yard. As one forum person once told me, chin up DebA, look at the martins. Danger all around but yet they soar in the sky without a care in the world.

Thank you, Joe. I agree with JL. I am in the lobby of Cancer Treatment Centers of America, Tulsa, playing it on my tablet. Makes me smile! And as usual who cares what others wonder about you!!

I have an undetermined lung mass with two negative biopsies so now I come for quarterly cat scans. I expect to be sent home late this afternoon...and just watch and wait for my pals to show up.

I'm so glad sharing a video of my babies brings a little joy into other folks lives.

Hang in there for they are coming your way!
Cheers,
Joe
