CONGRATULATION'S EMIL
My 7th one arrived yesterday morning also. Once they reach about 14 it's over for me to try and count them. I then have to rely on nest checks to determine a more accurate count.

I'm officially jealous of you both.
I'm sitting here right now, staring at my three unoccupied Trio houses and my dawnsong CD is playing. Still nothing. The suspense is killing me!
Was really hoping they would arrive for me to see them this weekend before going back to work tomorrow.

It is really early as yet - mid February there should be lots of martins arriving, versus the singles+ that people are reporting now - hang in there, everyone!

- Martin Colony History: Had a colony many years ago which dwindled over a couple of years and then did not return. Kept trying each year for almost 20 years and finally had a small success in 2011 with two pairs nesting. Colony has grown slowly each year with 22 pairs in 2015. In 2016 my gourd rack of 18 gourds filled up so I added 4 more gourds and then put up a small rack of 6 gourds. All of those were claimed within a few days so I believe I have at least 25 pairs this year.
Congratulations Emil.... and all those that have their first PM's.
