new year. I have my site up and ready to go. In addition, I placed an 8 unit house in my neighbors back yard. I have a picture of my site, hope you can see it.

Hi Tom,

Does your HOA give you any trouble? Just curious (and always a little cautious since I live in Frisco, TX)

Thanks,

John

No, none at all. You cannot see any of the houses from the front of the house. So, this probably helps.

Looks Good Tom,
It's Kenny Crawford over here in Grand Prairie, Tx
You need to put up some decoys , they help alot both as attracting the PM's as well as helping during a Hawk attack , it gives the PM's a Chance to bolt to freedom while the Hawk attacks the Plastic decoy, the Decoy's have been a God-send here at my colony and have saved many many martins. wishing you a great year tom.

John E,
Since i moved back to Texas from Shreveport, La in 1994 I have been living in a sub division called Westchester here in Grand Prairie , Tx the HOA has never given me any problems about all my Housing, Gourd Rack & S&S Repeating Trap's , Etc,etc,etc.....

Hi Tom

Your set up looks great. Last year Martins showed up at my place in Trophy Club around March 12. Since this is my second year should I expect them to arrive earlier. Hope we both have great seasons.

Hi Tom. I'm in Highland Village . This will be my 2nd year attempting to attract PM's. How close is your pole to your house? It looks close based on the photo.

My house and gourd rack are around 30 feet from my house and about 200 feet from the nearest trees. No problem here since we had 11 pair last year. I did wrap the mini castle with 2x4 wire because we do have cooper hawks around. Since I did that we did not have a single hawk attack in 2016.
