We want to encourage local landlords, bird-friendly folks, and OKC area residents to continue going out to watch and enjoy the martin roost. It is an awesome display and you don't want to miss it!
Some roost viewers plan to meet at the NW corner of NW 4th and Robinson at 8:30. It will be over by 9:30. This location is the southern pavillion of the OKC Memorial.
Please share photos if you go.

I passed through OKC last saturday night just before dark, several blocks south of these areas on I-40. I could not believe how many PM's I saw perched on power lines and such, and I wasn't even looking hard.
2010: two pair nested, 1 bird fledged.
2011: starlings/sparrows destroyed nests. I shut down the house early to save PM lives.
2012: new T-14 with SREH, & a Beeman R7. Four fledged this year.
2013: Destroyed many house sparrows, but fledged 21 PM's!
