2014 - 18 gourds offered - 12 active nests, 52 eggs, 48 fledged
2013 - 12 gourds offered - 9 pairs, 56 eggs, 52 hatched, 49 fledged
2012 - 12 gourds offered -4 pairs, 20 eggs, 19 fledged
2011 - 6 gourds offered -1 pair, 5 eggs, 5 hatched, 5 fledged !!!!

very cool! wish i still had mine around...have only seen them on the house once since they fledged, although i do see them and hear them in the evenings...

2011....still only one nesting pair..extreme heat killed the babies

Downsized to 17 gourds due to back surgeries. Had 14 families in 2017 but did not do nest checks due to health. Feeling better in 2018 and hoping for a good year.
Me too, Bulldog.....I just got online to see if anyone this far south still hac PM's visiting this late. It is only my second year as a landlord but mine were gone much earlier last year and my dad always said they are usually gone by July 4th. I have 10-12 coming by everyday!! I love it. I dread the quiet when they are gone. :(

- Martin Colony History: 2017 Had a lot visitors no Matins nesting, hoping 2018 will be different.

destroyed by HS!

- Martin Colony History: 1 gourd rack with 24 gourd capacity. 2018, my 11th year hosting martins.
18 pair in 2017.
Lucky You! My last ones fledged June 28 and I never saw any young come back not even for one night. Saw a couple last week on the power line looking at the gourd rack but that's about it for me. Much quieter now.
