I am up to a whopping 4 pair at home and just wanted to introduce my Home Colony Hottie. Not complaining about numbers, that is a 33% increase over last year!

Thank you Veterans for providing me Freedom.

Tony, I have some $$$ gear solely for avian work, its my hobby besides the obvious. This photo was taken with a Nikon 300S + Nikon f/4 600mm prime with a matching quality foundation. This shot was taken the other morning of a SY pair plucking Willow leaves for their nests. Cropped a little beyond my liking but one of those more natural shots without the man made housing. Once the feeding of young begins, the more challenging flight shots will be my focus.

Wow - baby got a bootie going on - look out J Lo!

Willow's seem to be the leaf of choice at my place as well - I have a single willow tree and probably 20 other oaks of many different types - not a single oak of any kind, everybody uses the willow.

One thing I like about the willow - when I do nest checks, I can quickly strip off willow leaves to recreate the nest with pine straw and fresh willow!
