Wanted to know if anyone has ever changed entrances when there are nestlings in the gourds? We are having problems with starlings and were considering changing to a crescent entrance, but don't want to stress the martin parents. Perhaps we should wait until next year to make the change. We are getting really tired of cleaning out the starlings' nest. Was wondering....should I buy a trap?

Would also like to ask if there is a trap that I can purchase that will fit big bo gourds.

I just changed a trio standard door over to a crescent door with eggs in the nest. The pair were in on the first try in less than 10 mins.
