After nearly seven years since I had my last colony, I finally have a pair at my site. An adult male and sub-adult female has moved in. The male actually arrived two weeks ago today. The female has been here for about a week. Nest building began four days ago. Very busy this morning. In addition, I have had several sub-adult visitors the last couple of mornings and evenings. So, I am hoping that a another pair may join them.
I guess if you wait long enough and have a good location they will find you.
Tom
Well...

Did you use any attraction methods like dawnsong or decoys. Also, how far away is the nearest active site. Congrats on getting martins back. I've been waiting five years now. Few visitors.

There is an active site within a half mile of me. There are around 6 pair there now...all adults. But there are alot of sub-adults making there way to the area as well.
Keep trying ...you will get them sooner or later.

BTW...I did use the day time chatter CD...but he was here before I really got to use it much. When he stayed for several days I quit using it ... I didn't want to confuse him.
