- Martin Colony History: Got my first SY pair in 2017. Fledged 1, but died due to wing entrapment. 2018- changed all entrances and got one ASY pair. Fledged 3. 2019- Male returned. Disappeared after 12 days. Suspect hawk. No nesting pairs. 2020- 1 pair. Fledged 3. 2021- 12 pairs fledged 43.. 2022- 22pairs. 100 eggs .fledged74 2024–. 42 pairs, fledged186– 2025- 56 pairs, fledged 233
My photos did not attach to my last post. If someone would help me that would be great. I hit choose a file below add a photo and selected my photo. I hit add photo and there are no photos coming up on my post. I tried several times and can's seem to get it. thanks

I now have 5 gourd racks, offer 66 Gourds, and average 50 pair a year.
I’m a Purple Martin landlord and I live in Hopewell Township, NJ. Tim Shaheen also helped me when I was starting my colony. I can’t post pictures on here either but if you would like to email them to me I’d be happy to take a look.
