Changing out round holes on Trendsetter

HELLO Everyone, I am new to this forum.....I have just bought a new 12 compartment Trendsetter house.....I am going to change out 6 of the openings to Conley holes....Has anyone got any advice on doing this.....I have alot of Starlings in my area which I battle each year.....Very tired of this every year.....The Trendsetter is a cadallic of a house....think I will really like it.....I also have many natural gourds to hang on a rack I have......thinking about changing some these opening to the Conley 2 holes also..I really think Starling resistant entrances are the way to go ...I would appreciate any advice and input.....thanks Chase

Martin Colony History: Colony started - 2007 with one pair
As of 2018 - 84 cavities offered, max # of pairs hosted - 82.

Chase,
I did it last year - glad I did! We cut some 3/4" thick pieces of cedar into 4" length x 2" (I'd have to go measure them to get the exact measurements) to put under the door. Glued them down with Lexel. We used a metal saw to cut out the holes to make them wider, then pop-riveted on the conley II plates. I LOVE them!
