Martin Colony History: Last colony I had was in 2015.

Hi Lila, I wasnt well enough last year to keep up with my nesting pair & fledging's due to a Brain Disease i was diagnosed with aprox 3yr's ago it causes me lot's of balance issue's and the strong chemo med's my dr's had me on to slow the disease made me very sick.I was dx'ed with Neuro- Bechet's it is very rare in the us and now have been told by my neuro that it is in my spine so i cant do much climbing anymore either. But i belive i had some where around 33 to 35 nesting pait last year. I had writen it down in a notebook but lost it so
that's fairley close. I belive my asy male is advertiseing my new location ive
been waiteing for him to bring lot's more of his friend's over!
And yes im still playing my Dawnsong C.D. on and off during the day it sure work's for me  Thank's

Thank's Lorna your so very welcome!

Hi Birdy Girl, Im sure glad they found our new place too, Was realy greeving
on where they would go to nest when they returned back home!
Wishing you the best of luck

Thank's Nancy, I belive they have landlord Fidelity too! I sure dont understand my asy male, but he will drop out of the sky nearly everytime he see's me by the houseing here at the new place all during the day and i will watch him fly off toward our old place of course to socialize and recruite other martin's to come over!

I loved reading your story pete! The Eastern Phobee is a very pretty little bird and loves people too. They do have a way of pulling at your heart string's.
Wishing you the best of luck this year with your Purple Martin's AND
Maby a nesting pair or two of Eastern Phobee's.
