Last year I read a post from someone who straightened the pole for their Alamo house with a "spring pin" I did not know what that was and my martins were arriving therefore the timing for working with this was just not right. Since I have a few weeks before their typical arrival in mid Feb. I want to solicit the help of the person or persons who know how I can straighten this pole. We installed it correctly using a level, etc., yet over time it is developing a slight curve that could be putting unequal pressure on the system. So if any of you know a solution, please let me know... many thanks! Debba

I need to do the same to my alamo pole too. This is the spring pin that was talked about. This is a picture and not the actual size that was recommended.

I guess push the pole to straighten the lean.

drill a hole in the side of the pole probably slightly smaller than the pin it in circumference

pound the spring pin into it.
