That is all I have seen the last 3 or 4 weeks. Aiken SC must be a geographical oddity. Martins have made it half way to Canada, and still no reports in Aiken. I'm still waiting to see the first Tree Swallow too! I had my first mating pair of Martins last year, (3 fledged), and several visitors, so I really expected my "COLONY" to grow this year. With SY birds starting to arrive, does that mean that most all of the ASY birds have migrated already?

Lots and lots of time left for ASY birds even though the SYs are starting to return in Florida. Purple Martins have a long migration period. Here in central Kentucky we wish they would slow down a bit. Still lots of time left for cold weather here. I have birds that arrive from mid March until late May, with peaking numbers the last week of April to the first week or two of May.
