Thank you, Bill. I am happy to be able to share this information with others interested in Bald Eagles. The Blogs listed on the links are very informative and if one is sincerely interested, there is a lot of information available.
Harley, you are so fortunate to have this event happening right outside your front door and to be able to relax in your chair on the patio and watch it all unfold and progress. I hope you enjoy every moment of the eagle season, and also hope you have a wonderful martin season.
This is extraordinary, and I am so happy you are sharing the event on The Forum.

Hey Yall,
Thanks so much for the replies. I will attempt to fill your wishes on the photos.
I need some help. My photo capacity quickly filled up. I use to post photos on PMCA via Photobucket. I tried last night and was able to load photos from my computer to Photobucket but it wouldn't let me copy or cut and paste like I use to do. Can someone walk me through this. Kenny Crawford helped me learn how a few years ago but I've either forgotten or the process has changed. Thanks!
Linda, as always you are so on the job. Thank you for the info. I can't tell you how blessed I am. My Babies and I were working on my Retro-pole which was damaged by the tornado, cleaning gourds, and martin houses. As we worked we could see the eagles soaring a great distance away and listened to them scream. It was simply amazing. We all knew we were witnessing something majestic. They are beautiful. I will do everything within my power to share this with Yall. You know how I love to photograph wildlife. Thanks again.

Harley, just recently some information about sharing photos via Photobucket was shared. Perhaps you can find specific information on this thread.
Thanks to Grady for the step-by-step information.

Hey Yall,
Beautiful here today, in the 70's. The eagles were out and about. They actually flew closer to us. My grandbabies & I were watching them and they were watching us. If I had a better lense I could have gotten some outstanding photos today. Here are a few we took.

Hope Yall enjoy!

I am just awe struck. How blessed you are to have something like this unfold in your back yard. Heck, I got all excited when a pair of red tailed hawks built a nest just a few hundred feet from my back deck, had babies and we were able to watch and listen to them grow and then finally leave the nest....but THIS, THIS is something very special. Enjoy and PLEASE keep the pictures coming. Even though you think your lens isn't working, it's doing wonderfully. We like it!!!

Hey Yall,
Thanks for the kind words. It was really strange today. We were working on the Martin housing. We would stop from time to time and watch the eagles. They then flew down parallel to us and landed on a tree. That is the sequence of the photos you see. After landing they sat there for a long time watching us. They didn't seem to be fearful, more curious than anything. Through binoculars we could see the expressions on their faces. Wish I could share that with Yall. You can tell in the photos the difference in their size. I don't know what their wing span is but folks these eagles are huge. Since I notified the wildlife people the Game Warden told me he would be running surveillance on them to protect them. I feel good about that.
A bit of humor when one of my babies asked me what they were doing. I said I'm not sure. Maybe they are discussing how much weight they think they can carry together. Babies didn't think that was funny!

Awsome Harley,
I saw my first here about 4 years ago about 2 miles from town. I think they are making a comeback here!
